About

Narragansett, RI Interior Design Company

“All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.”

– Walt Disney

As founder and owner of Balanced Interiors, a Rhode Island-based interior design firm, I have spent more than 20 years creating thoughtfully designed homes that reflect the unique lifestyles, values, and aspirations of my clients. I firmly believe that surrounding yourself with an aesthetically pleasing environment is vitally important. The way we care for our homes and ourselves, can have a profound impact on our health and well-being. When we consciously create a home rooted in harmony, it becomes a haven that allows us to rejuvenate, restore, and find balance amidst the demands of modern life.

I help my clients design homes that are a true reflection of who they are and how they want to live. My goal for every project is to create a space that not only meets, but surpasses my clients’ expectations. I achieve this through mindful communication, professional expertise, and a commitment to environmentally conscious design. I believe we can create not only beautiful rooms, but a more beautiful world.

My design style is centered on creating balance and visual interest by integrating the beauty and elements of nature into each space. This means thoughtfully balancing texture, shape, color, and natural materials to create a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. I believe that when we are in tune with nature’s rhythms, we feel more connected to our homes, ourselves, and the world around us.

I have always loved transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary ones. My formal design journey began in 2002 when I enrolled in the Interior Design Program at RISD, later graduating as a certified Interior Designer. I am also a graduate of the University of Rhode Island, where I earned a dual degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Nutrition.

My studies in nutrition sparked a lifelong interest in wellness and the ways our everyday choices affect how we feel. Combined with my passion for interior design, this perspective naturally evolved into an approach that considers not only how a home looks, but also how it supports the people who live within it. The path to interior design felt like a natural one because it brought together so many of the things I am passionate about: creativity, wellness, business, and helping others. I believe we are the architects of our own lives and can create anything we are passionate about. I am deeply grateful that Balanced Interiors has grown into the design company I envisioned when I took that leap of faith and followed my heart.
